East European Draping techniques
Draping is still one of the most used décor elements that
you can get around the world. There is nothing as beautiful as a venue draping
and an elegant roof draping. If you then add some sparkly fairy lights…then you
have a winning recipe.

Draping styles and draping techniques change from country to
country and from culture to culture. Middle East cultures dictates that their
wedding draping must be full of colour, while the western cultures would more
likely go for what they call it – less is more.
An interesting phenomena that I’ve recently saw in the
draping industry was the rise in the beautiful draping techniques in the east Europe
nations. I would like to spend some time today to show you a few photo’s of
draping techniques that I really think is amazing.
Although they use a lot of material and a lot of different techniques they do stay with the normal design principles like use of colour, repetition and balance to name a few. Enjoy #draping!
